Billing
Manage access to the paid V0 tools. Stripe handles payment. UC Journal Companion does not access your Universal Credit account and does not send anything to DWP.
Subscription
Sign in to manage billing or start a subscription.
Sign inSubscription access will be checked before paid tools open. Billing metadata is separate from private claimant content.
How billing works
Paid tool access depends on your subscription status. Billing is handled through Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by this app.
UC Journal Companion stores subscription metadata so it can decide whether your account has paid tool access.
Cancellation
Cancellation is managed through Billing and the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancelling normally stops future renewal.
If cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid period, you may keep access until that date while the app still recognises your subscription as active.
Deletion requests do not automatically cancel subscriptions. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your app data.
Refunds
Refunds are not automatic. If you think you were charged in error, charged twice, or could not access the paid service because of a serious technical problem, contact support.
Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Nothing here affects any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
This refund wording is draft V0 launch-hardening wording and still needs final legal review before real public launch.
Privacy, deletion and terms
Billing metadata is separate from private claimant content. To download your app data or request deletion, use the Privacy page.
